We’ve heard more conversations about our mental health during the last 12 months than I think we ever had and whilst the conversation is certainly becoming more normalised, this doesn’t necessarily mean you feel comfortable asking for help.
I’d love to open this conversation with you and so, if you are comfortable doing so – please email natalie@thefertilitypodcast.com and just let me know one thing that you feel has really helped you with your mental health.
When it comes to the impact on it, whilst you are trying to conceive, it is so significant we really do need to give it more credit, which is what we discuss in this episode and Kate and I are delighted to have Abi and Karen from Fertility Circle join us on the podcast.
Abi tells us how she searched for fertility support when she was trying to conceive 7 years ago and how she felt completely lost. Tragically Abi made some poor decisions on where she looked for support that has impacted her health for the long term. The same was for Karen, in that she didn’t know where to access support and for these reasons, this is why Abi and Karen felt motivated to start Fertility Circle.
It’s also important to Abi and Karen to provide women with the right expert advice and information across the whole spectrum which includes both the physical and emotional aspects. As Abi and Karen are both now trying for their second babies, they both feel so much more empowered and informed to make the right decisions. Karen also talks about the forced break women have had during the pandemic and how it’s been an opportunity to reset.
I have had a lot of conversations since creating The Fertility Podcast with you, learning more about how your world has changed since you have been trying to conceive and it’s the main reason why I trained to become a Freedom Fertility Formula specialist as I wanted to have some tools and practical support that I could give you.
Along with this episode, I am now open for bookings to work one to one with you directly, during May, so if you would like to know more about what I do have a look here.
And like I said at the start of this post, I’d love it if you email natalie@thefertilitypodcast.com and let me know what has been working for you.
