Why is Male Fertility still hardly talked about

Oct 26, 2020

We discussed why there such gaps in our knowledge when it comes to male reproductive health in a facinating conversations with  Rene Almeling –   sociologist and author of a new booked called Guynecology, a smart book with a smart title. Have a listen

Things are changing with a new documentary on coming in the new year, with comedian Rhod Gilbert talking about his expereinces of male infertility and hopefully we’ll be talking with him on the podcast in the new year.

The Fertility Podcast meanwhile, is dedicated to giving a voice to male fertility issues, both with the expert interviews we share and inviting men to come and share their experiences. It is something I have personal expereince of and understand as much as a woman can, the impact it can have on a man and also know how it feels to be the partner of someone dealing with male factor. It’s tricky to say the least and continues to impact our world.

So, I’ve been on a mission to always champion the importance for Men to be included in ALL fertility discussions, which we know often isn’t the case.

If you take a browse through the Male Fertility section   you will hear conversations with Andrologists and Urologists, all specialists in men’s health. You will hear about support groups available for men and also other men talking about their experience of infertility and also childlessness. I’ve also explained more in the video below

We are going to be talking about Male Fertility again on the podcast, in April 2021 so if have a question you’d like to ask or you are keen to tell your story, please email info@thefertilitypodcast.com

Ta ta for now
