How have you been? I’ll be honest, I feel like I’ve been away for 2 weeks, having spent the last week on a road trip with my son, Phoenix.
We took advantage of the good weather and him being on half-term to visit family with my husband, who then had to go to work.
So Phoenix and I hit the road, visiting friends, and the coast of Mid Wales, which was beautiful. I can’t wait to go back and we were so lucky with the weather.
Now, I know from the many conversations I’ve had with you how frustrating the diagnosis of unexplained infertility is, and this episode, Kate and I took advantage of our meet-up the other week and made a podcast, it was great!
We spoke with a lovely lady called Jen who is @jens_endlesshappydays on Instagram. Jen has been diagnosed with unexplained infertility and is struggling with PCOS, however, her doctors don’t feel that PCOS is impacting her cycle and therefore her diagnosis remains unexplained.
Jen tells us how she feels frustrated at the diagnosis of ‘unexplained’ and the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with her thoughts of why she’s not getting pregnant, symptom spotting, the two-week wait, and the crushing disappointment of getting her period every month.
We also had our expert Dr James Nicopollus explain the term and talk through how he advises you to cope with it, so we really hope it helps you if it is what you are dealing with. Plus in our ask the expert section, James we discussed the ongoing concerns people have with the vaccine when TTC, so worth a listen to that as well.
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on this episode, as it really does matter. If you’re up for leaving a review, you can do so here, if you never have, it only takes a few minutes and makes such a difference to people wondering whether to listen.
