If you are trying and struggling to conceive, the last thing you want is to be seeing adverts that could trigger you and this episode is a brief conversation that Kate and I had with Antonia Roderiguez who I saw post something about this on her instagram and I knew we needed her advice.
Antonia has worked in the privacy space for many years and experienced people talking about their negative experiences of targeted advertising. However, as Antonia tells us there are things that you can do to minimise your exposure to this triggering material……….
- Block certain cookies in your browsers settings
- Click on cookie warning pop-ups and accept only the functional cookies
- Try browsers such as duckduckgo.com where you can be more incognito
- Remove profile categories from social media
