Inofolic has recently changed to Inofolic Alpha. Inofolic Alpha’s unique formulation is an effective treatment for PCOS, helping to control your PCOS symptoms such as weight loss, reducing acne and treating unwanted hair growth, as well as helping to restore ovulation and improve egg quality.

Inofolic Alpha contains myo-inositol, alpha-lactalbumin and folic acid. Alpha-lactalbumin is a protein that can improve the intestinal absorption of myo-inositol. The combination of myo-inositol, alpha-lactalbumin and folic acid improves the following 3 aspects of PCOS management:

1. Insulin resistance – affects 65-80% of PCOS women, the lack of insulin management is the primary cause of increased male hormone which in turn impacts fertility in PCOS women.
2. Altered gut microbiome – women with PCOS have a different balance of gut bacteria, which has been shown to impact/reduce nutrient absorption, this can affect how the body responds to insulin control and inflammation.
3. Chronic inflammation – is a key contributor to the development of PCOS, high inflammation markers have been shown to correlate with high testosterone levels in PCOS women.

Alpha-lactalbumin is a serum protein derived from dairy milk and does not contain lactose.

Dose: Take one sachet twice a day, about 12 hours apart. Add contents to 25-100ml of water, stir and drink. Do not take with any other products containing Folic Acid.

When taken at the recommended dose of 2 sachets per day, Inofolic provides 400mcg of folic acid (the recommended daily amount) and 4g of myo-inositol.
