The fertility industry is booming. But is it doing enough to support the customers who are lining its pockets?
Writers Jemma Kennedy (whose new play Genesis Inc. about the IVF industry premieres at Hampstead Theatre this summer) and Alice Jolly (winner of the PEN Ackerley Prize for her memoir Dead Babies and Seaside Towns) will be talking about their views on the industry, gained through their own personal experience and explored in their searingly honest writing.
The artists were joined on stage for a discussion by Professor Adam Balen, lead clinician at Leeds Fertility, author of twelve books and more than 220 peer-reviewed papers on fertility; and Sarah Norcross Director of the Progress Educational Trust. Chaired by the Fertility Podcast’s Natalie Silverman
